Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site will offer free hands-on history programs for children and their families on Thursday mornings in the summer. Programs will be offered May 30– August 8 from 10 – 11:30 am. Children will be engaged in a variety of activities related to the people who lived at White Haven in the 19th century or to the National Park Service. Program topics will vary each week. Activities are most appropriate for ages 5 and up, but younger siblings will certainly find something fun to do as well. Reservations are required. Call 314-842-1867 ext. 230.
